Making Better Futures

Making Better Futures

'Making Better Futures'
Poetry workshop - WFI Clackmannanshire

We would like to invite you to an evening of poetry making and discussion of women's time and community activism in Scotland.

The poetry exercise will focus on how you fit your activist activities into your (busy) lives, and how you have adapted your lives around your activism. What leads women to get involved.. and what keeps them there. How we try to make better futures.

The workshop will be facilitated by Maggie Laidlaw, PhD Student in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh. Poetry created on the night may be used as part of Maggie's research activities - any questions, contact Maggie maggie.laidlaw@ed.ac.uk

Bring a dish to share for the buffet table and your creativity.
NB. No prior poetry making experience required!
All welcome, please RSVP
