Indy Fifer Wimmin with Jeane Freeman MSP

Jeane Freeman MSP, Minister for Social Security, is in the historic position of designing a Social Security system for Scotland which is not only fit for purpose, but which also has respect and dignity at its heart. Join us to hear Jeane speak of the challenges of building such a system for a limited proportion of the overall Social Security available to the people of Scotland, and her hopes for its inception.  We're bound to touch on the next Independence Referendum and women in politics as well, being, as they are, topics of great import to both Indy Fifer Wimmin and Jeane!

This is a Women for Independence event to which all women are invited. You're welcome to bring your children along with you.

Tickets are charged at £4.50 per person. Free tickets are available to those who can't afford the cost, as well as for children and for carers by contacting Indy Fifer Wimmin directly.
