WFI Lanarkshire Conference

An all day event featuring a series of workshops for people who are interested in community development and campaigning.

Workshop groups:  

11am - CND will be running a workshop on how to effectively campaign 

12pm - Citizen's Advice Bureau will be on hand to give advice on budgeting and debt management

1pm   - Thinking of starting a business? The Business Gateway will be here to help you discover your first steps toward freedom from wage slavery!

2pm - One for the locals - the Hamilton Town Centre Development Group will be discussing ideas and taking suggestions.

The main speaker (TBA) will be on the stage at 3pm, and will be enthusing our youngest members!

Our stallholders will be bringing their market goods to delight and inspire: Sales of crafts, beauty products, candles, home decoration, textbooks and educational materials and much, much more

Campaign Cafe: Run by our younger members, the campaign cafe will be open all day with great food and members of the SNP young team on hand to advise anyone aged 15-20 on how to get involved with political campaigning. 

All workshops will be run by women. Come along to mingle with like minded people and network with other political campaigners. Everyone is welcome, whether you are an experienced campaigner or someone who just considering getting involved with politics!
